The Daniel Castro Band started off the new year with a bang:
January 6th, 2016, DCB was part of the Club Fox Jam 10th Anniversary Celebration. Headlining the show was The Ford Brothers Blues Band with Robben Ford. DCB played a tight, high energy 60 minute opening set to a roaring sold out audience.
Daniel's usual band mates, Johnny Yu, bass and David Perper, Drums were not available for the performance. Playing with Daniel for the evening was Tony Lufrano on keyboards, Paul Revelli on drums and Steve Evans on bass. As stated by Vince Caminetti who runs the The Club Fox Jam, "These guys delivered big time"
DCB heads out SoCal and Arizona in February:
During the first week of February DCB will be traveling to Southern California and Arizona. February 4th the band will play at Woody's Burgers in Palm Springs, Ca. An old Greyhound Bus station that has been converted into a very cool music venue. Owned an operated by a good friend of Daniel's, Wayne Woodliff the venue has been getting great attention as a music spot in Palm Springs. This will be the band's first time at Woody's Burgers and they are looking forward to the show.
March Northwest Shows:
DCB returns to the great Northwest. March 19th, the band will play The Highway 99 Blues Club in Seattle, Washington. March 20th the band will play the Birk in Birkenfeld, Oregon. The band has made the trip to the Northwest several times since last year and each time their audience has been getting bigger and bigger
Spokane Inland Empire Blues Society sponsors DCB event:
On June 10th The Inland Empire Blues Society will sponsor a show with The Daniel Castro Band. The event will be held at The Roadhouse in Spokane Washington. Details to follow.
Blues & Bones Festival in Boise, Idaho:
June 11th, DCB will be at The Blues & Bones Festival in Boise, Idaho. The festival is put on by the same good folks that put on The Blues & Bones Festival in Angels Camp, Ca. which DCB headlined last year. Looking forward to a great festival.
